Tehran (IP) - The border guard commander of Iran’s police announced the release and return of two kidnapped Iranian border guards.

Iran Press/Iran News: Ahmad-Ali Goodarzi, the Border Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Police, said on Thursday: "The two border guards who were abducted and taken hostage by a terrorist group, returned to Iran with the successful action of the ground forces of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC)."

On Monday evening, October 15, 14 Iranian border guards stationed at a checkpoint on the Mirjavah border in southeastern Iran were abducted by terrorist groups.

All these border guards were released, and only two of them were in the custody of a terrorist group. They were also released yesterday.
