Iran Press/ Asia: Abbas Mousavi, Iranian Ambassador to Baku Friday met with Javid Gurbanov, Chairman of the Republic of Azerbaijan Railways, exchanged views on cooperation between the two countries in the field of rail transport.
The Iranian ambassador to Baku expressed the interest of Iranian companies to participate in the reconstruction of the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Javid Gurbanov also presented a report on the transport and logistics capabilities of the Republic of Azerbaijan and expressed confidence that the two countries' cooperation in this field would be further developed.
The Iranian ambassador and the chairman of the Republic of Azerbaijan railways also discussed the importance of the North-South corridor, as well as the implementation of the Rasht-Astara railway project.
