Iran Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh

Tehran (IP): Talking about the US recent unrest in Capitol Hill, Iran's Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday that "We are not happy to see the suffering of the American people, but they are victims of the belligerent policies of their rulers."

Iran PressIran News: Speaking at his weekly Press conference held on Monday Saeed Khatibzadeh condemned the US to move to sanction Falih al-Fayadh, the Cheif of al-Hashd al-Shabi, Iraqi Mobilization Units (PMU) and added: "It is not only condemned but also doomed to failure that the head of a state institution in Iraq to be targeted by the US with such sinister intentions and sanctions.

He explained further that "This indicates the unfavourable situation of the United States in the West Asian region."

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman said: "In Yemen, they have supported an unjust and shameful war for years. The Yemeni people will never forget that they were under siege for medicine, food, water, etc., and this could not happen because of the white signature check that the United States gave to Saudi Arabia. The United States and no rebellious country in the region can take action unless they pay attention to the realities of the region. Sooner or later, they will talk to these indigenous groups, including those in Yemen. These actions are of no value, and the last days of the Trump regime are in the White House about to come.

He also said about buying the corona vaccine: "The reference for buying the corona vaccine is the Ministry of Health. I ask the Ministry of Health to raise technical issues for public awareness. Whenever they set a goal for us, we cooperated, including in the field of participatory vaccines, such as cooperation with Cuba, which was achieved following Zarif's visit to Havana."

Khatibzadeh stated about Iran's deadline for the US to return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA): "It will be the last week of February. Of course, let's ask the JCPOA headquarters for more details."

"It was an absolute storytelling event," Iran's MFA spokesman said of recent domestic developments in the United States and the breaking of Trump supporters into Congress.

The most embarrassing US government is leaving the White House in the most embarrassing way. The same room that ordered the martyrdom of  Lt. Gen Soleimani, the same room where {Trump} ordered the full-scale war against the Iranian nation, the same room for the war against democracy inside the United States. This is the promise of history that you will not take any action unless you see the result.

Khatibzadeh said: "See what you have seen in the United States over the years and the movements that took place and the actions that Trump took. We are not happy to see the suffering of the American people, but they are victims of the belligerent policies of their rulers. There has been a lot of bloodsheds unjustly by US rulers. America must one day be held accountable for this unjustly shed blood."

The United States is a partner in Saddam Hussein's chemical crimes against Iran

Reacting to Pompeo's claim about Iran's use of chemical weapons, he said: "The United States is the country that, when the Halabja tragedy happened, used all its hypocrisy to force blaming Iran for it, but they knew Saddam well. What a crime he has committed against Iran and our dear Kurds. This is the country that in the last days is doing its best to distort the facts."

"The United States is a partner in Saddam Hussein's chemical crimes against Iran, and the fabricated allegations are so baseless that I do not think those in the White House would believe them when they wrote them," Khatibzadeh said. They wrote the name of Germany for the show. These are not worth answering and are doomed. Iran is a major victim of chemical weapons.
