Iran Press/ Middle East: The first international conference on the legal aspects of the "Crime at Baghdad Airport" under the slogan "Violation of the Rule and Punishment of Criminals" was held in Baghdad with the participation of several Iraqi universities, law institutes, research centers, and legal experts, the Iraqi PMU announced on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Iraqi al-Rusafa court, which was assigned for investigating the case of the assassination of Lt Gen Qasem Soleimani, late commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units, and their companions at Baghdad airport, on Thursday ordered the arrest of US President Donald Trump.
PMU, in response to Donald Trump's arrest warrant, bravely supported the sentence, saying that Trump would not be safe in his home.
It added that Iraq is part of the International Police Council and that the Iraqi judge's ruling will oblige Interpol to cooperate with the Iraqi government, and that Trump will no longer be able to enter Iraq under any circumstances.
Earlier, the Tehran prosecutor's office announced that an arrest warrant has been issued for Trump and 15 other political and military officials in the United States and other countries, for directing and attempting to assassinate General Soleimani, and asked Interpol to arrest them.
General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, along with eight others, were killed on January 3, 2020, in an airstrike by US aggressors and terrorists near Baghdad airport.
