Iran determines time, place for Martyr Fakhrizadeh revenge: Military official

Tehran (IP) - The Armed Forces chief of staff stresses the certainty of revenge over the assassination of prominent Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, saying that Iran determines the time and place of the revenge.

Iran Press/Iran News: On the occasion of the 40th day of Fakhrizadeh's martyrdom, Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri stated on Thursday that Fakhrizadeh had aroused the wrath of enemies of humanity for the past two decades.

"Both the criminal United States and the child-killing Zionists were extremely angry with him," Baqeri noted.

"The Zionists do not tolerate the observation of the scientific power of Islam in the world, and from the day that each Islamic country succeeded in nuclear physics, they tried to assassinate and carried out these actions in Egypt, Iraq, and Iran," he pointed.

He also pointed to the similarities between the assassination of the Commander of IRGC's Quds Force Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani and Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, stating that the point which shows the value of these two high-ranking martyrs is the murderers and those who ordered them. The orders were passed by the most vicious individuals of our time, namely the President of the United States and the Prime Minister of Israel.

He asserted that revenge is certain, but Iran will determine the time and place.

Head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense and one of Iran's leading Scientists in the Nuclear and Defense Industries, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was assassinated in a terrorist attack around Tehran on Friday, November 27, 2020.
