Iran Press/ Asia: In an exclusive interview with IranPress on the sidelines of the ceremony, the Leader of the Afghan National Congress Party Abdul Latif Pedram said that Martyr Soleimani played an important role in the region's independence and prosperity.
Pedram stated that martyrs Soleimani and Ahmad Shah Massoud were two well-known personalities in the region and the world, noting that the two martyrs had a unique role in the region's pride and honor.
Few people in the world do not know the character of Martyr Lt. Gen, he pointed, saying that Soleimani and the funeral of his body aroused a lot of passion in the region and the world.
He highlighted that all those who fight for "freedom, independence, and justice", especially in Islamic countries, use the character of Martyr Soleimani as their role model because he and Ahmad Shah Massoud were role models of sacrifice and courage.
It is impossible to talk about freedom and pride in the region and not mention Martyr Soleimani and Ahmad Shah Massoud's names, he added.
Regarding the reason for the assassination of Lt. Gen. Soleimani by the Trump administration, he said martyr Soleimani had a charismatic personality and did not allow the United States to achieve its goals in the region. As a result, the United States assassinated this brave commander.
