Tehran (IP) - Iran's Interior Minister stressed that the infection, hospitalization, and death toll rate decline indicates the coronavirus combatting smart plan has been implemented successfully across the country.

Iran PressIran News: On the sidelines of the counseling committee of combatting the coronavirus headquarters held on Thursday, Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli attributed the successful implementation of combatting the coronavirus due to the people's cooperation with the health ministry and observing the health protocols. 

"The Health Ministry has worked hard and nonstop to detect the virus, meet people's needs, and prove anti-coronavirus products," he stressed.

Rahmani Fazli noted that: "since the   very beginning of   the coronavirus outbreak, the Health Ministry has gained significant achievements including producing masks, disinfectants, ventilators, oxygen-producer machines which Iran was in dire need of them, but right now these products are provided and fully Iran could meet its needs." 

He said weekly meetings are held to discuss and consulting how to combat the virus.

The minister also stressed that the virus has caused innumerable social challenges and people are on tight budgeting, but to reach the required health and calmness, cooperation is a must.

Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli expressed hope that the combatting COVID-19 process continues with all organizations' contributions and the Health Ministry's cooperation.

Highlighting how the Health Ministry daily observes the virus's status and its mutation online, Saeed Namki, Iran's Health Minister as the next keynote speaker added that the Health Ministry Health monitoring section is trying to be equipped and updated in order to predict and preempt any incidents.
