Baghdad (IP) - The Iranian ambassador in Baghdad stressed the expulsion of American troops from the region is a revenge for the blood of martyr Soleimani.

Iran PressMiddle East: In an interview with the Iraqi news agency Al-Ahd News, Iraj Masjidi, the Iranian ambassador to Iraq, pointed out that limiting the role and influence of the United States in the region is one of the options considered to avenge the blood of Martyr Soleimani

"No one is at the level of Martyr Soleimani so that revenge can be taken against that person," he added.

In Baghdad, the Iranian ambassador called the Iraqi parliament's decision to expel the Americans from the country a national and courageous decision and said: "Talking about Iran's interference in the Iraqi parliament to pass this resolution is in fact a kind of disrespect to this country."

Masjidi pointed out: "The Islamic Republic of Iran supports the opposition of nations to the United States' presence in the region."
