Thousands of people gathered in Karachi, Pakistan, on Sunday evening to mark the martyrdom of Iran's Martyred Leader, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in a large and emotionally charged event.

The gathering, attended by men, women, and children, saw participants expressing solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Rally routes featured painted American and Israeli flags on the roads, over which attendees walked before entering the main venue, while many waved Iranian flags during the procession.

Addressing the participants, religious scholar Agha Rahat Hussaini stated that the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader has revitalized the spirit of the Islamic world.

He emphasized that the people of Pakistan remain committed to the mission of the late leader, adding that unity among Shia and Sunni Muslims, excluding extremist elements, is a major strength against adversaries.

Prominent scholar and head of the Ummah Awakening Movement, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi, paid tribute to the martyrs of March 1 and highlighted the legacy of Imam Khomeini, stating that it was carried forward and strengthened by Ayatollah Khamenei. He stressed that unity within the Muslim Ummah is essential in countering external challenges.

Opposition Leader in the Senate and Chairman of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, said in his address that the teachings of Imam Hussain (AS) provide a clear distinction between right and wrong. He reiterated that standing against oppression and supporting the oppressed remains a guiding principle.

The event continued until midnight, with participants reaffirming their commitment to unity, resistance, and shared values.
