As one of their targets, the U.S. and Israeli regime stroke a primary school in Minab, southern Iran’s Hormozgan province, killing at least 50 girl students and wounding at least 48 others.

Iranian Ministry of Education released the figures after the U.S. and Israeli regim began a war on Iran on Saturday when the school was hit during the attacks.

U.S. and Israel claimed their aggression on Iran was meant to remove "threats" posed by the Iranian "regime."

Iran termed the strikes a violation of sovereignty, vowed to respond and launched retaliatory strikes.

The developments came as Oman was mediating talks between Washington and Tehran on Iran's nuclear program, the latest round of which was held in Geneva on Thursday.
