A group of pro-Palestinian activists gathered outside the parliament to condemn the British government's complicity in the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

Why it matters:

The rally took place at the time where the British PM Keir Starmer attended the parliament for being questioned by lawmakers.

The big picture:

This rally happens at a time where major achievements are being made by the Palestine movement across UK. Most of the Filton24 activists have been released from prison on bail. British high court has ruled the prescription of Palestine Action as unlawful. The achievements of these two groups have made the Zionist lobby in a lot of anger.

What we're hearing:

Javis from the Christian Climate Action: "Past UK approval ruled illegal for ignoring carbon emissions; resubmission needed amid tax issues. It has ties to Israel’s Delek fuels IOF, occupied Palestine, so project aids genocide via profits."

Laila, a Lebanese activist residing in London: "I am here to liberate Palestine god willing. I am here because of Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen and all the freedom fighters across the Islamic countries."

Laila further said: "We must support this cause because it is a legitimate cause. This is a cause where all the oppressed people are supported. You know what I mean, I cannot express all that I have in my heart."
