Islamabad, February 10, 2024 — The Imamia Students Organization of Pakistan has announced the launch of a nationwide campaign to express solidarity with Iran’s Leader, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and to oppose American hostile actions. The campaign is set to commence on February 11, with public gatherings, conferences, and rallies planned across the country.

Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Syed Amin Shirazi, Central President of the Imamia Students Organization Pakistan, emphasized the importance of supporting Iran’s leadership. He was joined by Syed Shaukat Ali Shirazi, leader of the Ard Pak Watan Party, and Syed Ali Abbas Naqvi, head of Al-Busira Foundation. The officials underscored Iran’s pivotal role in safeguarding Muslim interests and highlighted the ongoing challenges posed by the United States and Israel.

“The Israeli entity is like a sore in the heart of the Islamic world,” Shirazi stated. “Today, the world is witnessing the true face of the great Satan, America. President Trump’s pursuit of war has endangered global peace. After destroying many Islamic countries, the US now seeks to impose war on Iran, a democratic nation and a staunch supporter of resistance.”

The speakers praised Iran’s Islamic Revolution and its leadership for standing resilient against American and Israeli agendas. They credited Iran’s resistance for providing substantial support to the Palestinians over the past 47 years and for sacrificing significant national interests in defense of Islamic ideals.

Syed Ali Abbas Naqvi emphasized that Ayatollah Khamenei is cherished worldwide as a leader of freedom fighters. Any aggression aimed at Iran’s leader, he warned, would have repercussions beyond Iran’s borders, potentially igniting conflict throughout the Muslim world. “A hostile act against Khamenei will be seen as a declaration of war against the entire Muslim Ummah. American and colonialist forces will face a severe response.”

Syed Amin Shirazi reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity, stating, “The resilient Pakistani people stand with Seyyed Ali Khamenei. Our organization is initiating this campaign to demonstrate unity against American atrocities.”

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, both leaders shared their perspectives on regional tensions. Shirazi pointed out that “Trump’s threats against the Leader are not confined to Iran; they threaten the entire Muslim community. Khamenei is revered by millions, and any attack on him would provoke a strong reaction.”

Naqvi further highlighted Pakistan’s historical support for Iran’s Islamic Revolution. “Pakistan fully supported the revolution from the beginning. Even during the twelve-day war imposed on Iran, the Pakistani people stood by Tehran’s side. Any harm inflicted on Iran will not go unanswered. A broad coalition of Sunni and Shia scholars, the National Solidarity Council, has declared that attacking Iran would be equivalent to attacking the entire Islamic world.”
