Turkey’s and Iran’s Foreign Ministers delivered coordinated messages on regional stability, foreign intervention, and the future of diplomacy during a joint press conference in Istanbul.

Why it matters:

The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions, concerns over potential U.S.-Iran confrontation, and growing warnings from Ankara and Tehran about Israel’s hostile actions. Both ministers framed diplomacy, not military action, as the only viable path forward.

The big picture:

The West, led by the U.S., along with the Israeli regime has failed to stop Iran's progress in the region and remove an obstacle on their way to get more dominance over the independent nations. They did every thing from puting harsh sanctions on Iran to launch hybrid war on the people of Iran.

The U.S. and Israeli regime, along with the silnce of the European countries, carried out military aggression on Iran in June 2025 but they failed to topple the Islimc Republic due to the tough response they received from the unity of the Iranian nation and military forces.

What Turkish FM's saying:

Hakan Fidan issued a series of pointed messages aimed at Washington, Israel, and regional actors:

  • Iran must find fundamental solutions to its internal challenges; these issues should be resolved domestically, not through outside interference.
  • Military intervention has not and will not produce positive results.
  • Reviving U.S.–Iran nuclear talks is essential to reducing tensions.
  • Iran’s peace and stability are vital for Turkey, and Ankara opposes any foreign meddling in Iran.
  • Israel is pushing the U.S. toward military action against Iran; Tel Aviv should abandon policies that fuel regional instability.
  • We hope the United States does not attack Iran

What Iranian FM's saying:

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi echoed Ankara’s concerns while sharply criticizing Israel and reaffirming Tehran’s readiness for diplomacy:

  • Israel is using conspiracy narratives to pursue illegitimate goals, and it is trying to drag regional states into war.
  • All regional countries should remain alert and serious about Israel’s actions.
  • Iran supports diplomacy and rejects any military threats.
  • Iran opposes any action that leads to instability in the region.
  • Iran is ready to return to negotiations, provided talks are fair and based on mutual respect.
  • Iran is determined to protect its security and regional stability and will not bow to external pressure.
  • Military strikes are not an option; the U.S. attack in June did not achieve its objectives.
