Tehran (IP)- A Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) in sports was signed between the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Iran and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan.

Iran PressAsia: "Sport is a valuable opportunity to preserve and promote global values ​​such as respect, cooperation, and common goals between countries," said Masoud Soltanifar, Iran's Minister of Sports and Youth, at the signing ceremony of the memorandum, which was held online on Tuesday.

The Minister of Sports and Youth of Iran stated: "Using values, sport brings together different ethnic groups and nations and promotes a culture of interaction between nations."

"Undoubtedly, the result of such interactions will make a greater link between the national and international interests of the two nations," Soltanifar emphasized.
