Tehran (IP) - Iran’s president said: "We hope to see more Japanese companies in advancing various projects in the fields of science and technology in the new environment."

Iran PressIran news: Receiving the credentials of Japan's new ambassador to Tehran, Hassan Rouhani stressed the importance of accelerating the implementation of joint agreements and unfreezing Iran's financial resources in Tokyo, saying that Iran always welcomes the development of economic and scientific relations with Japan and hopes for a change in the new environment in these relationships and the presence of more Japanese companies in advancing our national projects in the fields of science and technology.

Ikawa Kazutoshi, the new Japanese ambassador to Tehran, while presenting his credentials to the President, stressed that Japan is determined to develop cooperation with Iran in areas of interest.

The new Japanese ambassador said: "Japan and Iran have been two very good partners, and the finalization and implementation of the technical cooperation agreement between the two countries will provide wide opportunities for joint Tehran-Tokyo cooperation."

Referring to the achievements of the mutual visits of senior officials of the two countries to Tehran and Tokyo, he said: "The new prime minister of Japan, with continuing the path of Abe Shinzo in developing cooperation with Iran, is determined to work with Tehran for a more prosperous and peaceful world.”

Kazutoshi also stressed that Japan fully supports the Iran Nuclear Deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and stands by Iran.

The Islam of Iran, Indonesia moderate, compassionate

The President also expressed hope that the Tehran-Jakarta cooperation would be organized and developed as soon as possible when receiving the credentials of Ronny Prasetyo Yuliantoro, the new Indonesian ambassador.

Referring to his trip to Indonesia and meeting with the scholars of this country, Rouhani emphasized: "The Islam of the two countries is based on the principles of moderate and compassionate Islam."

The new Indonesian Ambassador Ronny Prasetyo Yuliantoro also referred to the Indonesian President's emphasis on expanding and strengthening the two countries in all fields, stressed the need for mutual cooperation and the continued presence of Iranian and Indonesian companies in the two countries and the implementation of joint projects and exploitation of the new opportunities for cooperation.

The new ambassadors of Tunisia, Japan, Uganda, Mexico, Indonesia, Slovakia, and Thailand presented their credentials to the president on Tuesday.

Tehran is ready to expand cooperation with Bangkok in all fields

Receiving the credentials of the new Thai ambassador to Tehran today, the President welcomed the scientific, economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries and said: "There are great capacities to increase the level of relations between the two countries. I hope that during your term as a new ambassador, these capacities are fully exploited.”

The new Thai ambassador to Tehran, also presented his credentials during the meeting, saying that centuries of Iran-Thailand relations and 65 years of official diplomatic ties have provided an excellent opportunity to deepen cooperation, and Bangkok is determined to expand its ties with Tehran in all areas of interest.

Rouhani also called for the full implementation of the joint agreements between the two countries and added: "We are interested in Thai students studying in different fields in Iran and there is no obstacle to this."
