After the recent U.S-Israeli-backed terrorist activities in Tehran and various cities of Iran, life has turned to normal condition.

Why it matters:

Despite the claims of Western media that Iran is not calm and citizens do not benefit normal life conditions. People have resumed their routine due to the police efforts and Iranians mass rally on January 12, where they criticized the riots and voiced their support for the Islamic Republic.

The big picture:

A wave of unrest has swept through Iran in recent days. What began as economically driven protests in Tehran’s Grand Bazaar was quickly exploited by terrorist groups, according to Iranian authorities.

Armed terrorists and rioters used the unrest as cover to launch chaos in the country. These groups carried out terrorist operations that resulted in multiple civilian deaths.

Vandals targeted mosques, banks, and public and private facilities, causing extensive damage in several cities.

Zoom in:

The escalation reflects a shift in strategy by Washington and Tel Aviv after their failed attempts to provoke political unrest or destabilize the Islamic Republic through media and diplomatic pressure after 12 day imosed war on Iran in June 2025.

Iran says the current wave of violence shows an effort to manufacture internal chaos through armed attacks and coordinated vandalism.

What we are hearing:

A shopkeeper says: "Thank God, the situation is getting better. There were some unrests but the police has controlled the city.

Our sale decreased a bit, but today people are out and doing shopping."

Another shopkeeper says: " the situation is normal. The city is calm, we are at work. They should know that we have economic problems, but damaging people's properties is not the solution. We support our leader, we are united and nothing happens. Now, there is security and we should not let enemies dominate our country."
