In a message issued on Monday following the large-scale demonstrations held on the 22nd of Dey, the Leader commended the "great and dignified" Iranian nation for creating a historic day through its widespread and resolute presence to condemn recent foreign-backed.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the massive rallies thwarted the plots of foreign enemies, which he noted were intended to be implemented through internal mercenaries.
“The great Iranian nation displayed its resolve, identity, and determination before its enemies,” the Leader said, stressing that the scenes served as a warning to American politicians to end their deception and refrain from relying on “treacherous mercenaries.”
He underlined that the Iranian nation remains strong, powerful, vigilant, and fully aware of its enemies, adding that the people are always present on the scene in defense of the country and its values.
The Leader concluded his message by invoking divine mercy for the Iranian people.
The nationwide rallies were held across Iran after recent unrest by U.S.-Israeli-backed terrorist acts heightened regional tensions and were marked by large public participation in support of national sovereignty and resistance against foreign pressure.
