Indian filmmaker Indu Lakshmi, a participant in the 43rd Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF), praised the raw authenticity of Iranian cinema and its strong resonance with Malayalam storytelling in India, noting that many Iranian films have stayed with her long after viewing them.
