The Second Technology Olympics began on Monday, October 26, at Pardis Technology Park in Tehran. Over four days, participants competed in six specialized fields: cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), programming, artificial intelligence, combat robots, and drones. The preliminary stage of the event featured more than 12,000 domestic and international participants from 65 countries — a twofold increase compared to the first edition.
In the final stage of this competition, over 1,100 Iranian and international experts competed, and in addition to Iran, teams from 16 countries — including Pakistan, Oman, Russia, Vietnam, Turkey, Tunisia, Iraq, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, India, Lebanon, Indonesia, Romania, Algeria, and the Netherlands — were also present.
The Second Technology Olympics 2025 came to an end on Thursday, October 29, in Tehran, in a ceremony attended by Hossein Afshin, Deputy for Science, Technology, and the Knowledge-Based Economy to the Iranian President.In this ceremony, the top competitors of the six categories of the 2025 Technology Olympics were introduced and received their awards.
The top competitors in the Artificial Intelligence Competition and the Data Processing League were announced as follows: Team Persia Mind ranked first, Team Z+R secured second place, and Team Abu Rayhan came in third.
In the Text Processing League, Team Nobodies came in first, followed by Team Open to Work in second place and Team Cortex in third.
In the image processing league, the team 'We' secured first place. The teams 'Smart Watcher' and 'Irascience' came in second and third, respectively.
Top performers in the drone competition were as follows: the teams Horizon UAS, Dutrium, and Shaheed Hadi ranked first to third respectively.
Top performers in the programming competition were as follows: In the Python/Django league, the Pandora team, CodeC team, and djangoro team ranked first to third, respectively.
In the Golang league, the SnappBox team achieved first place. The teams Failures and Crazy Programmers took second and third place, respectively.
In the front-end league, the teams Front-End, Pat & Mat, and Code & Lazy ranked first to third, respectively.
In the algorithms league, the team 'Joojeh-Kabab' came in first, and the teams Phoenix and 67% Daycare took second and third places.
Top performers in the combat robots competition were as follows: In the heavyweight robot league, the Diaco team was crowned champion just as it was last year. The Gando team secured the runner-up position, and the Elm va Sanat team came in third.In the lightweight robots section, the Gloomak Sazeh Nasr team became the champion.
In the student robotics section, the teams Ordibehesht, ATHMIRA SF, and Fanavar 1 ranked first to third.
Top performers in the cybersecurity competition in the attack and defense league, team F12 ranked first. Team WTN came second, and team D.O.T ranked third.
In the Hardware Competition League, Teams F12, Digiboys, and D.O.T ranked first, second, and third, respectively.
In the Capture the Flag rapid competition, Ali Taqi Wajid took first place, followed by Muhammad Hasan Faraz in second and Usman Abdul Halim in third.
Top performers in the Internet of Things competition, team Hadaf achieved first place. Team Noobs came second, and team SmartOne was ranked third.
