Mohammad-Reza Saeedi, the CEO of the Social Security Investment Company (SHASTA), said that "it is wrong to think that we are loss-making; we earned 32.5 hemats of profit in the last year."

According to Iran Press, Mohammad-Reza Saeedi, CEO of Social Security Investment Company (Shasta), pointed out in a press conference that this national group is active in 21 different industries with 176 companies under its management and has earned a total of 402 hemats of cumulative income, adding, "Last year, Shasta had an income equal to 402 hemats and produced 72 hemats of cumulative income."

"This is while some media outlets have wrongly portrayed Shasta as loss-making," he said.

In another part of the report, Saeedi referred to the international performance of the holding and said that Shasta has earned about 2.6 billion dollars in international income; a major share of this income has come from activities such as the country's shipping.
