According to an announcement by the Iran Weightlifting Federation, Davoudi's participation was officially canceled due to medical reasons, and the National Olympic Committee of Iran named Alireza Moeini as his replacement.

The 6th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games will be held in Riyadh from November 6 to 21. In the previous edition hosted by Konya, Turkey, Iran ranked third overall with 130 medals, including 39 gold, 44 silver, and 47 bronze.

The Islamic Solidarity Games, established by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), are open exclusively to athletes from the organization’s 57 member states.
