Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has met with his Tunisian counterpart, Mohamed Ali Nafti, on the sidelines of the 19th Mid-Term Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Kampala, Uganda.

The big picture:

The meeting took place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, during which the two top diplomats discussed bilateral relations and a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Araghchi arrived in Kampala earlier on Wednesday to attend the NAM ministerial session and began holding talks with his counterparts on the sidelines of the event.
