To mark the start of Tourism Week in Iran, Tehran hosted its first event focused on ancient Iranian cuisine.

One of the most important programs during Iran's Tourism Week is culinary tourism, also known as food tourism. Following a call for participation sent to 31 Iranian provinces in recent months, 55 individuals expressed their readiness to take part in the event, and ultimately, 12 contestants qualified for the competition featuring Iranian forgotten traditional dishes.

Zahra Rostami from Kermanshah Province won first place with her preparation of Qazqavan. Arnika Mardani from Alborz Province secured second place with her dish, Qalieh Ghoshfil, and Shiva Mohammadpour from Ardabil Province took third place with her preparation of Torshi Qorma.
