The senior IRGC commander further emphasized, "We won this war despite a coalition of so-called world powers were together united against us. Among their foolish acts was that they announced all their goals before the start of the war."
The top IRGC General added, "The enemy did not achieve any of its goals. Neither the Islamic Republic was overthrown, nor the Iranian nation was humiliated, nor was our beloved Iran divided. For all their bluster, they helplessly requested a ceasefire from us and watched our missiles rain down from the sky until the last second."
Elsewhere in his remarks the top IRGC General said, "60 percent of all martyrs of the 12-day imposed war were from the IRGC; of these approximately 600 people, 21 were soldiers and the rest were IRGC members of various ranks, which shows how strong the organizational cohesion and connectivity are within the various intelligence and operational departments of the IRGC."
