Iran’s Diplomatic Push
Araghchi arrived in New York on Monday to attend the UN’s 80th annual General Assembly, accompanied by a delegation of senior diplomats. His schedule includes participation in official sessions, as well as bilateral meetings with counterparts from other nations and engagements with media outlets.
Broader Context
The week-long General Assembly session, which began on Tuesday, will run until September 29. Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian is also in New York to deliver an address and outline Tehran’s position on key international issues.
