Iran’s top diplomat expressed frustration, stating, “The reality may be that the E3/EU diplomatic apparatus is, in fact, ineffective.” He added that French President Emmanuel Macron acknowledged the proposal’s merits and emphasized that the plan has full backing from Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
