President Masoud Pezeshkian says enemies are looking to sow discord among Muslims, plunder their energy resources, and attract their elites.

Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Ardabil Province on Thursday to inaugurate 72 economic and development projects.

The province is located on the border of the Republic of Azerbaijan and can also communicate with Armenia and other countries by sea. There are capable people and unique capacities in this province, and it is enough to adopt a new approach to solve the problems.

Masoud Pezeshkian: "Who are the enemies who can put pressure on all Muslims, sow discord among us, and plunder our resources—oil and gas themselves? If we did not have significant resources, would they come to us? They are after our resources and elites."

Referring to the government's policies in energy, the President stated: "We are seeking to use clean energy instead of gas and electricity."

 

What is next:

During his trip to Ardabil, he will attend meetings on the development of educational justice and a meeting of the Planning and Development Council of Ardabil.

A meeting with investors and economic activists of Ardabil and cultural and social activists is among the other programs of the President's trip to Ardabil.
