Iraqi political leader Ammar Hakim continued his high-level meetings in Tehran, holding talks with Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani and Ali Akbar Velayati. The discussions focused on expanding Iraq-Iran cooperation, regional stability, and unified efforts among Islamic nations to counter shared threats. Both sides emphasized support for Palestine and condemned the failure of Israel’s regional ambitions, including the Greater Israel plan.

Ammar Hakim, leader of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement, arrived in Iran on Thursday and met with Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the founder of the Revolution, Ali Larijani, Secretary of the National Security Council of Iran, and Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje'i, Head of the Judiciary.

Continuing his meetings in Tehran, Ammar Hakim also met with Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani, Chairman of the Expediency Discernment Council, and Ali Akbar Velayati, Advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran on International Affairs.

In the meeting with Larijani, Hakim emphasized the need to expand joint cooperation between Iraq and Iran in various fields. Reviewing the latest developments in the region and ways to achieve stability and security in Islamic countries were also among the other topics of discussion between Hakim and Amoli Larijani.

Hakim also met with Ali Akbar Velayati, advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran on international affairs and emphasized the need for Islamic countries to unite against common threats and the failure of the Zionist regime's plans in the region, especially the failure of the Greater Israel plan, and support for the oppressed people of Palestine.
