After the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the request of Caracas, sent a delegation to Venezuela to monitor the country's parliamentary elections, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro wrote on tweeter: "The Venezuelan government has welcomed delegations from the United States, Russia, Iran, Turkey, members of the European Parliament and members of the Global Monitoring Bureau to monitor Venezuela elections."
