The big picture:
On Tuesday morning, July 23, following the Israeli regime's attack on a civilian neighbourhood at the city of Astaneh in Northern Gilan province, four residential buildings were ruined and several other houses and buildings in the vicinity were damaged. During this brutal aggression, 15 civilians, including one Iranian scientist, Seyyed Mohammad Reza Seddighi Saber, and all of his family, were martyred, and several other people were injured.
What he is saying:
Seyyed Ali Reza Seddighi Saber, the only remained member of the family and brother of martyred Mohammad Reza Seddighi Saber, who was invited to Foreign Ministry Spokesman's weekly press conference, told reporters: "The Zionist regime martyred 15 members of my family and loved ones, and I am the last survivor of a large family."
He continued, "My brother was a scientific activist and a prominent university professor in mechanical engineering ... I collected the body parts of my family members with my own hands; only because my family was striving for the development and glory of Iran."
