Israeli regime launched attacks on Syrian Defense Ministry in Damascus today, Wednesday evening, during which the Defense Minister of the Julani rule was killed and Julani himself escaped.

Why it matters:

Today's attacks by the Zionist regime against Syria, especially the very heavy bombing of the country's Ministry of Defense, show that Tel Aviv, under the shadow of tye U.S. support, is committing crimes that have rarely been seen in the world system.

The big picture:

The Israeli regime, under the pretext of defending the Syrian Druze, has launched heavy attacks on various regions of the country, especially Damascus. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that the Israeli army has taken action to "save the Druze brothers" and "confront groups affiliated with the Syrian regime." Netanyahu traveled to Wahinghton on July 6.

  • Israeli sources say that Turkey had asked al-Julani to evacuate the presidential palace in Damascus immediately.

  • The Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement condemning the recent attacks by the Israeli regime on the center of Damascus, calling it an attempt to sabotage the efforts of the Syrian rule to establish peace, stability and security in the country.
  • The Lebanese president also called the attacks a "violation of the sovereignty of an Arab country" and warned of increasing tensions in the region.
