Iranian Counter-Intelligence units have launched a wave of arrests against individuals suspected of working for Israeli intelligence, with dozens detained across Iran since the Iran-Israel war broke out on June 13.
Police in the northwestern province of Gilan earlier announced that at least 36 people suspected of cooperating with Israel have been arrested in a series of raids across the province since war broke out.

Since the beginning of Israel's attack on Iran, the Israeli spy network has become highly active inside the country. Iranian intelligence and security forces arrested "more than 700 individuals linked to this network.
