Iran’s Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics announced a series of meetings with his Russian, Chinese, Pakistani, and Belarusian counterparts during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Defense Ministers’ Summit.

Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, in an interview, highlighted his activities during his visit to China for the SCO summit. He stated, “In our address at the summit, we proposed that given the recent ineffectiveness and poor performance of international organizations, the SCO can serve as a viable alternative for establishing peace, security, and stability.”

Nasirzadeh also mentioned his sideline meetings with the defense ministers of Russia, China, Belarus, and Pakistan. “We discussed various issues with them, and they strongly condemned the Zionist regime’s attack on Iran, emphasizing that there was no justification for such aggression,” he said.

The Iranian defense minister added, “They described the attack as unjust and a violation of international norms. They also praised the Iranian people’s courage and resilience in recent days, commending their response to the aggression.”
