The Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council has issued a statement on the imposition of a ceasefire on the Zionist enemy and its malicious backers by the proud and resilient people of Iran. The full text is as follows:

In response to the Zionist enemy’s aggression, your brave and self-sacrificing sons in the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran heeded the command of the Leader and Commander-in-Chief, and with unmatched courage, dealt crushing blows to every hostile act.
In the most recent of these responses, the American Al-Udeid airbase and subsequently the entirety of the occupied territories were targeted by missile strikes.
Your unmatched vigilance, awareness of the moment, resistance, and unity shattered the enemy’s core strategy. It created an opening through which the perseverance and staggering might of Iran’s fight ers,built through years of creative, innovative, and sustained struggle,were brought to bear.
Over twelve days of intense and skillfully managed combat, this strength was deployed to respond to each aggression with timely and proportionate force.
The divine reward for this profound and meaningful national insight, for the prudence and struggle of the fighters, and for wise leadership, was victory and divine support, which forced the enemy into regret, defeat, and the unilateral cessation of its offensive.
Accordingly, the heroic and great nation of Islamic Iran is hereby informed that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran,placing no trust whatsoever in the enemy’s words, remain with fingers on the trigger, fully prepared to deliver a firm and regret-inducing response to any further act of aggression.
