Majid Takht-Ravanchi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, in a phone conversation with Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mohammed Al-Khulaifi, to discuss the latest regional developments amid heightened tensions following recent military attacks on Iran by Israeli regime and the United States.

Takht-Ravanchi underscored the close and longstanding ties between Tehran and Doha, emphasizing Iran’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations based on mutual interests and principles of good neighborliness.

He criticized Israeli-U.S. hostile actions against Iran, warning that such moves threaten regional unity in the region.

Takht-Ravanchi stressed that Iran, in cooperation with its neighbors, would not allow “divisive and destabilizing efforts to undermine regional solidarity.

The Iranian diplomat expressed appreciation for Qatar’s “constructive role” in efforts to de-escalate tensions and maintain security in the region.

Al-Khulaifi, for his part, highlighted the strategic nature of Qatar-Iran relations and reiterated his country’s support for regional cooperation aimed at promoting peace and stability.

He reaffirmed Doha’s commitment to playing a proactive and constructive role in ensuring regional security.
