Iraq News Network stated that the base came under a missile attack.
Al-Nujaba TV, affiliated with Iraq’s Al-Nujaba Movement, also reported an unspecified explosion at the Taji base.
Al-Ghadir TV added that the explosion reportedly occurred in an ammunition depot, triggering a massive fire at the site.
This incident comes as global attention remains focused on the region, with Iranian armed forces having launched a missile barrage at American military bases in Qatar in a retaliatory operation a day after Iranian nuclear sites were targeted by US bombers.
