Public Relations Office of the IRGC’s Rouhollah Unit announced that the drone, identified as a Hermes 900, was shot down before conducting any operations by the fire of the IRGC’s indigenous air defense systems.
IRGC announced that images of the drone’s wreckage and details of its destruction will be released to the Iranian public within the coming hours.
This incident follows a terrorist attack perpetrated by the Israeli regime on Tehran and several other Iranian cities in the early hours of Friday, June 13, 2025. The assault resulted in the martyrdom of several military commanders, scientists, and civilians. In response to this brutal aggression, the Islamic Republic of Iran launched Operation True Promise III on Friday night, firing missiles toward occupied territories in response.
