Donald Trump said that U.S. warplanes carried out airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan on Sunday early moning.
Hakeem Jeffries, leader of the Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives said Trump did not seek Congressional authorization for the strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities and will bear full responsibility for any adverse consequences.
Jeffries added that Donald Trump had promised to bring peace to the Middle East, but has failed to fulfill that promise.
The risk of war has now dramatically increased, and I pray for the safety of our troops in the region who are now at risk, he pointed out.
He concluded that Donald Trump must bear full and complete responsibility for any undesirable consequences resulting from his unilateral military action
