The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, head of the IRGC Aerospace Force, in a “savage, terrorist” Israeli airstrike on one of its facilities inside Iran.

In a statement issued Friday, the IRGC hailed Hajizadeh as a tireless and strategic commander whose leadership over 16 years transformed Iran’s Aerospace Force into a cornerstone of national deterrence and a “thorn in the eye of the enemy.”
