Iran's Health Minister Saeed Namaki recently announced that Iran will soon be recognized as one of the leading countries in the field of coronavirus vaccine.
According to Namaki, one of the companies producing coronavirus vaccine in Iran has obtained a license to study the human phase, and this movement will begin in the upcoming days.
Christoph Hamelmann, the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Iran, on November 16, at the meeting to review the progress of coronavirus vaccine production in Iran, expressed satisfaction with the scientific and pharmaceutical advances in the country and said: "Iranian researchers use all methods and platforms for making the coronavirus vaccine are a sign that the imposition of political restrictions has not had an impact on the scientific progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
