Israel behind assassination of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh

Tehran (IP) - Details of the assassination of the prominent Iranian nuclear scientist, which are received by Iran Press confirms the involvement of the Israeli intelligence service in his assassination including the Israel-made weapon used in the incident and the planning.

Iran PressIran News: Iran Press has obtained credible documents and evidence that indicate that Israeli intelligence agents had a direct role in planning and carrying out the assassination of a prominent Iranian nuclear scientist.

Meanwhile, the Iran Press correspondent has obtained evidence that reveals the role of the elements of MKO terrorists in Friday's terrorist incident.

Friday afternoon, armed terrorists attacked the car carrying Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense.

During the clash between his security team and the terrorists, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was seriously injured and taken to hospital.

Unfortunately, the medical team did not succeed in reviving him, and this scientist was martyred after years of effort.

Israel-made weapon

According to the information received by Iran Press, the remains of a weapon used by the terrorists in the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh show that this weapon was made in Israel.

The weapon used in this terrorist act is engraved with Israel's name.

Also, the assassination of Martyr Fakhrizadeh was carried out by a remote-controlled machine gun mounted on a Nissan van.

The machine gun, which was equipped with a special Israeli-made remote control kit, fired as soon as the image of Martyr Fakhrizadeh was locked.

The information also indicates that the Nissan van explosion was aimed at damaging the team carrying Fakhrizadeh and destroying the remote control weapon in order to completely destroy the evidence in the ground.

The intact remains of the weapon indicate that it was made in Israel.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh! Remember that name

The Israeli Regime's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a 2018 campaign show explicitly mentioned the name of Martyr Fakhrizadeh and said: "Mohsen Fakhrizadeh! Remember that name."

Given the Zionist regime's history of resorting to assassination to thwart Iran's scientific-research achievements, these remarks were one of the clearest indications of the regime's sinister intentions toward another prominent Iranian scholar.

The enemies made several attempts to assassinate the nuclear scientist but each time their plot was foiled.

Who was Fakhrizadeh?

Reactions

UN Special Rapporteur Agnès Callamard has reacted to the assassination, describing the cowardly act as "an extraterritorial targeted killing."

"An extraterritorial targeted killing, outside an armed conflict, is a violation of international human rights law prohibiting the arbitrary deprivation of life and a violation of the UN Charter prohibiting the use of force extraterritorially in times of peace," she wrote on her Twitter account.

In a message on the occasion of the assassination of Martyr Fakhrizadeh, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei emphasized that all those responsible should seriously put two issues on the agenda, first, the pursuit of the crime and the definitive punishment of its perpetrators and commanders, and second, the pursuit of the martyr's scientific and technical efforts in all areas in which he was involved.

The Chairman of the Parliament's Energy Commission Fereydoun Abbasi called the actions of Martyr Fakhrizadeh in the field of defense and nuclear very effective.

The former head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said: "These assassinations will not interrupt the work of the country but will cause more growth and prosperity."

President Hassan Rouhani warned the enemies that the Iranian nation and officials will not leave the terrorist and criminal act unanswered.
