Tehran (IP) - Iranian lawmakers stressed that the Israeli regime will pay for the assassination of the prominent nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadehin in a due manner.

Iran PressIran News: Issuing a statement on Sunday, the Iranian lawmakers stressed the Israeli regime’s role in the assassination of the head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense, saying that the regime will pay for the crime in a due manner.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense was martyred in a terrorist attack around Tehran on Friday evening.

The Iranian lawmakers pointed out that the bitter tragedy of the assassination of Fakhrizadeh, the country's nuclear and defense scientist, has made the Iranian nation mournful.

"Although the Zionist regime's elements fail to understand the fact that the nuclear knowledge has long been indigenized and eternally mingled with the minds and hearts of thousands of young elite scientists, they will surely pay for their recklessness in a due manner," the statement emphasized.

The Iranian lawmakers also stressed the revival of the country's nuclear industry by the termination of the Additional Protocol’s voluntary implementation and the prevention of unprecedented inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
