Tehran (IP) - The closed session of Iran's parliament held today to examine the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.

Iran PressIran News: The Speaker of the Parliament Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf announced that various aspects of the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh as well as other martyred nuclear scientists were discussed during the session.

Referring to the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, Ghalibaf noted that the enemies of the Iranian nation used terror to show that they were afraid of increasing Iran's power and chose to eliminate Iranian scientists.

The people of Iran have been facing these events for 4 decades and the assassination of Dr. Fakhrizadeh will have a new result and will cause the enemy to regret, the speaker stated.

"The crimes we have seen this month will lead to deterrent revenge and boost Iran's nuclear industry," he pointed.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Ministry of Defense and prominent Iranian nuclear scientist, was assassinated and martyred on Friday afternoon local time in Damavand, Tehran Province, by unknown individuals during an armed conflict with his bodyguards.
