Tabriz (IP) - Newly approved COVID-19 restrictions have suspended all of the activities in the historical city of Tabriz, northwestern Iran.

Iran PressIran news: As the third wave of COVID-19 begins, restrictions have been set in the East Azarbaijan Province, northwestern Iran, which has been announced as a red zone.

With the implementation of new COVID-19 related restrictions in red zones, the departure of native residents' cars with private license plates and the arrival of non-native cars with private license plates into these zones have been banned.

Due to what has been approved by Iran's National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus, all activities in Tabriz have been closed down and only shops and guilds that provide the essential needs of the people are allowed to operate.
