Rocket hits Iran embassy in Kabul; no casualties

Kabul (IP) – Iran's embassy in Kabul reported that a rocket hit the embassy's premises and announced that there were no casualties.

Iran Press/Asia: Following the rocket attacks on parts of Kabul that took place this morning, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul announced the landing of one of the rockets at the embassy's yard.

The rocket hit several sections of the main building, windows, facilities, and equipment of the embassy.

There were no casualties and all embassy staff are in perfect health.

Several rockets hit parts of Kabul this morning (Saturday).

Social media users have reported rockets hitting various parts of Kabul, and have posted images that appear to show rockets being fired and hitting.

The Afghan Interior Ministry also announced that three people were killed and 11 others were injured when 14 rockets hit different parts of Kabul.
