Iran Press/Asia: Addressing the reporters on Wednesday after meeting with the Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said: “There was a long and very good discussion today on bilateral relations and border cooperation and we also discussed the opening of a border crossing between Iran and Pakistan next week and cross-border trade cooperation between the two countries.
Iran's foreign minister, who is in Pakistan at the head of a political and economic delegation, added that he had also exchanged views with Pakistani officials on developments in Afghanistan, the Persian Gulf, the normalization of relations between some countries with the Zionist regime, the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis, and the Iran Nuclear Deal.
Zarif also met his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and will give a speech at the Islamabad Institute for Strategic Studies, which will occur this evening. It is the final plan for the Iranian top diplomat's two-day visit to Pakistan.
