In the meeting of the Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Board:

The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran said: "The new US administration should reconsider its inhumane treatment of other countries."

Iran Press/Iran News: At the meeting of the government economic coordination Board on Tuesday, Hassan Rouhani referred to the upcoming developments in the United States and said: "The new US administration should reconsider its inhumane treatment of other countries to repair its defamed image in the international community before taking any action."

Referring to the report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the activities carried out to release the blocked financial resources of Iran in some countries, considering the obstacles created by the United States in this regard, the President stressed the need for more effective coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Central Bank in this regard.

Hassan Rouhani referred to the upcoming developments in the United States and added, "Before anything, the new US administration should first reconsider its inhumane behavior towards other countries to heal the credibility of the country in the world”.

Referring to yesterday's decision of the cabinet to oblige the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and related agencies to accelerate and facilitate trade exchanges with interested countries, Rouhani emphasized on quick planning and measures in this regard.

At this meeting, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented a report on the activities carried out to release Iran's blocked financial resources in some countries, and it was decided that despite US sanctions, the Central Bank and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinate more effectively on the release and use of these resources to meet the production needs of the country.
