Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote on his Twitter: "High-level talks on bilateral and regional issues will take place in Pakistan on Tuesday with my brothers, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the foreign minister, General Bajwa, the army commander, and Imran Khan, the prime minister."
Zarif noted that the meetings will take place after the commemoration of Iqbal Lahori Day as a great scholar of the Islamic world, an international poet and a tireless promoter of the unity of Muslims who has united the two nations of Iran and Pakistan.
Zarif will leave for Pakistan on Tuesday for a two-day visit.
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran had previously written on Twitter in Urdu in honor of Iqbal Lahori Day: "Iqbal is the pride of the Islamic world and an international poet and thinker. He was concerned greatly for unity among Muslims, one of the problems currently facing the Islamic world.
November 9, the birthday of Pakistani Muslim poet and thinker Mohammad Iqbal Lahori, has been named Iqbal Day.
Mohammad Iqbal Lahori, the great Pakistani poet and thinker, was born on November 9, 1877, and died in 1938.
