Istanbul (IP) - An Iranian woman who started the 2020 'Peace March' from Tehran's Azadi Square, arrived in Istanbul, Turkey.

Iran PressAsia: After visiting Istanbul, Poupeh Mahdavi Nader‌ will travel 100 km from İzmir to Kuşadası in İzmir, Turkey, to pay tribute to the victims of the recent earthquake.

Mahdavi Nader in an exclusive interview with Iran Press said: "I have started my journey from the symbol of Iran's nation and history (Azadi Tower) to the symbol of peace and recorded my steps and donate it to needy children all over the world."

"I will not give up till I bring peace, love, and friendship," she added.

Poupeh Mahdavi Nader made her name in the world 18 years ago by walking the path of peace by bicycle.

Mahdavi Nader has chosen her motto in this global path, "a world without war, without sanctions, and without racism with hope, security, and happiness".
