Tehran (IP) - an Iranian MP says insulting the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) creates coherence between Islam and Christianity because insulting Islam and Islamic sanctities is also an insult to Christianity.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Iran Press on Monday, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, Fadahossein Maleki condemned the French President Emmanuel Macron's insult to the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and noted the more European officials insult the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH), the more unity there will be in the Islamic world.

Fadahossein Maleki also said that Macron was taking ill-considered actions to cover up France's internal problems.

The Iranian MP stated that the president of France should pay more attention to the internal affairs of his country, adding that no action can disrupt the unity and cohesion of Muslims.

Calls to boycott French goods are growing around the world after President Emmanuel Macron's comments against Islam and Muslims.

Macron on Wednesday accused Muslims of separatism and vowed not to give up cartoons depicting Prophet Muhammed.
